About Us

Indlovu Aerial Trust (I.A.T) is a non-profit organisation based in South Africa that is strongly committed to positively impacting conservation efforts. As an NPO registered under section 18(A), we prioritise developing and delivering high-impact conservation projects that utilise advanced technologies to complement traditional conservation approaches. Our primary focus is on providing technical solutions and project management services that ensure the success of our initiatives while promoting good project governance and stakeholder management. Additionally, we work towards bringing together environmentally conscious business interests, conservation stakeholders, and the South African public to join forces in our mission to protect the continent's precious ecosystems and species.

Our Team

Quin Clark, Caitlin Gilfillan, Dane Poulson, and Che-Lee Parker are avid wildlife supporters and citizen scientists who established Indlovu Aerial Trust.

Although not classically trained in conservation, the founders of Indlovu Aerial Trust have successful careers as entrepreneurs and leaders in the natural health, fintech, IT and NGO sectors. Despite their primary occupations, they are deeply committed to their conservation work and bring the same drive and dedication to it as they do to their other ventures. 

Our Conservation Partner

Afraceuticals is situated in Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa. It specialises in the development and production of African plant-based medicinal products for the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industry. The company aims to research and develop a range of phytomedicines used by traditional African healers (inyangas) to treat various ailments for centuries. 

Afraceuticals is passionate about reconnecting people to plants and the planet through healing. The company believes there is an increasing awareness of the interconnectedness between people, plants, and the environment. Therefore, Afraceuticals is committed to discovering, protecting, and developing existing botanical wisdom while innovating new methods to obtain these precious resources sustainably.

Science has shown on many occasions that African botanicals have the potential to treat many medical ailments. Afraceuticals is dedicated to tapping into this potential and bringing this traditional knowledge and wisdom to the world.

Proud Members

1% for the Planet is a global movement whose members contribute at least one percent of their annual revenue to environmental causes. The organisation was founded to prevent greenwashing, certify reputable giving, and provide accountability. 1% for the Planet certification is given to businesses and individuals that meet their commitment by donating 1% of annual sales to environmental causes.
